Suspect in Graceland fraud pleads guilty in connection with scheme

A Missouri woman has pleaded guilty in connection with what prosecutors called a "brazen" attempt to fraudulently put Elvis Presley's Graceland estate up for auction. Lisa Findley pleaded guilty to one count of mail fraud in U.S. District Court in Memphis, Tennessee, on Tuesday. As part of a plea deal, prosecutors agreed to dismiss one count of aggravated identity theft that was previously filed against her.Click for details

Shiri Bibas's body has been returned to Israel after Hamas turned over the wrong body on Thursday. The body handed over by Hamas on Friday has been identified as that of Shiri Bibas, according to a statement from her family. "Last night, our Shiri was returned home," the family said in their statement, which also confirmed that the identification was made by Israel’s Institute of Forensic Medicine. রাজধানীতে খিলগাঁও তালতলা মার্কেটে ভয়াবহ আগুন

দুই ঘণ্টার চেষ্টায় রাজধানীর খিলগাঁও তালতলা মার্কেটে সংলগ্ন গ্যারেজ ও স-মিলে লাগা আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে এসেছে। শুক্রবার (২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাত পৌনে ১০টার দিকে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে। আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে কাজ করে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ১০টি ইউনিট। তবে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে আগুনের সূত্রপাত এবং হতাহতের কোনো ঘটনা ঘটেছে কিনা তা জানা যায়নি। ফায়ার সার্ভিসের পরিচালক (অপারেশন) লেফটেন্যান্ট তাজুল ইসলাম চৌধুরী বলেন, আগুনে বেশ কয়েকটি গ্যারেজ ও স-মিল পুড়ে গেছে। গাড়ির গ্যারেজে বিস্ফোরণের কারণে আগুন দ্রুত ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। সেখানে সিলিন্ডার থাকার কারণে এখনও ঝুঁকি রয়ে গেছে। অতিরিক্ত মানুষের কারণে ঠিকমতো কাজ করা যায়নি। এ সময় ঘটনাস্থলটিকে নিরাপদ করতে অনেক সময় লাগবে বলেও জানান তিনি। এর আগে, শুক্রবার রাত ৮টার দিকে এই অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে। আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে প্রথমে ২ ইউনিট কাজ করলেও পরবর্তীতে একে একে যোগ দেয় ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ১০টি ইউনিট। তবে উৎসুক জনতার ভীড়ের কারণে ফায়ার সার্ভিসকে আগুন নেভাতে বেগ পেতে হয়। স্থানীয়রা জানান, প্রথমে স-মিলের একটি কোণে আগুন লাগে। পরবর্তীতে একটি বিস্ফোরণ থেকে আগুন ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। ভেতরে কেমন ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়েছে বা ক...
